Vanessa’s new album, “Stars of Bean Hollow” is complete and awaiting release later in the Spring. Recorded in a week of sessions in early 2009, with instrumental sparkle and assorted overdubs added over the next two years, the record was mixed by Ian Pellicci at San Francisco’s famed Tiny Telephone. Ian has worked on records by Deerhoof, John Vanderslice and Magik*Magik Orchestra among many others; additional mixing by long-time collaborator Kent Sparling and mastering by the beloved Myles Boisen brought the project safely home.
We will soon be posting teaser tracks on Vanessa’s new Bandcamp site, as we prepare for a bunch of shows supporting the new record.
